There's a fun site that explains prediction market trading and Intrade. PredictionMarketTrader.com is a place to go with your cup of coffee and play some fun markets like "Celebrity Death Watch." OK, so it's a little bizarre but they have information on other prediction trading markets like politics, the economy, the weather and more. Only for fun. You can't actually place wagers through them, as they only give predictions about how Intrade results will come out. Good place for learning about prediction market trading before you join Intrade
